Ansellia is a genus of only one species, Ansellia africana, found widely through southern and tropical Africa.The flowers are immensely variable - plants from the south have smaller yellow flowers and the northern types have larger yellow to light green flowers with chocolate brown spots.
This one is from Durban in the KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa. It started flowering in early June and is still going strong.
